One of my favorite vampire tropes is that they need your permission to enter your house. They must be invited in, technically, before they seduce you. Dracula turns playful neck kisses into feasting on your blood, but sexy vampire fan fiction didn’t rule the Internet during’s Twilight’s reign.
Sexy situations turning into horrifically violent nightmares are still all the rage in films nowadays. Curry Barker’s indie hit Obsession plays on the crazy ex-girlfriend trope. Bodies Bodies Bodies filled a house with horny teens that ended up murdering each other, and The Substance contained just as many shots of gyrating asses as it did some of the most horrific body horror on screen in the last decade.
But if you’re looking for the sexiest horror movies in film history, you’ve been invited to the right place. Below, we also list Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise’s Interview with the Vampire, Megan Fox’s Jennifer’s Body, and thrillers like Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan. These are the sexiest horror movies of all time.
After Bear (Michael Johnson) wishes on a magical item that his co-worker Nikki (Inde Navarrette) would fall in love with him, the girl of his dreams is taken over by a scary new persona that thinks only about their relationship. Navarrette is a breakout performer in Obsession’s reversal of the crazy girlfriend horror trope, as the girl next door becomes a victim of Bear’s terrible curse. Under the Skin polarized audiences when it debuted in 2013.
In this bizarre Jonathan Glazer film, Scarlett Johansson plays an alien who strips, bathes in a void, and seduces men to kill before presumably consuming them for food. Since its debut, Under the Skin’s garnered a cult following. Are we too desensitized by sex and violence on TV?
But in David Cronenberg’s Videodrome, the Canadian sci-fi body horror flick explores a world in which snuff films are broadcast to an audience live on air. The 1983 cult classic stars James Woods, Debbie Harry, and Jack Creley as a character with one of the best names in cinema history: Dr. Timothée Chalamet reunites with Call Me by Your Name director Luca Guadagnino for this horror romance about two cannibals on a road trip across America.
