Are the Sussexes already planning their exit?

Despite having only just touched back down in England, it seems that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex (aka Prince Harry and Meghan Markle) may already be plotting their exit—and it doesn't look like they'll be returning to the United States either. Yesterday, the Duchess confirmed the news that she has been signed to co-host Junior MasterChef Australia, a cooking contest that sees those between the ages of 8 and 13 compete to be crowned the country's best budding chef. In a statement shared with the press, Meghan said agreeing to co-host the series next year, after a guest appearance in the last season, was “an easy yes.” “I had an incredible time with the whole team at MasterChef this past April, so when they approached me to come back and work with this young group of talent, it was an easy yes,” she told press.

I can’t wait to see what they cook up!” Given that the show is filmed at the Melbourne Showgrounds, in Victoria, Australia, some royal watchers are taking this as a subtle sign that the Sussexes could well move Down Under, especially as their efforts to repair fractured familial relationships with the likes of Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, seem not to have gotten very far. Earlier this year, an anonymous royal source told the Daily Mail that Meghan and Harry likely wouldn't stay in the UK on a very long-term basis, and suggested Australia could be on the cards. It could be six months, it could be a year, it could be more.

I don't think even they know yet,” the source said. Plus, if Meghan's new gig goes well, she could be asked to host more Australian TV shows (or even return to acting).
