When Nova arrived at ARK with her two siblings (Orion and Zelda), they looked to be about 3 weeks old. They were so feeble, it took days of bottle feedings every 2 hours before they could even drink properly. They thrived, but when taken to a vet, it was learned they were actually a month older than thought, and had likely been born prematurely.
To have survived was miraculous in itself. But, there was more danger ahead. When Nova and Zelda were spayed, Nova aspirated and nearly died and Zelda fell into grave danger when she pulled her stitches.
Both, however, thanks to the kittens’ strength and the fast action taken by her ARK foster parents, were saved. Now six months on, Nova has grown into a youngster that would seem to have it all. She has personality, an irresistible purr and confidence in people that makes her a delight to be around.
She has no enemies and has a fierce confidence that she will be loved. She’ll rub around your legs, relax in your arms belly up and purr like a little motor. Despite her rough early days, she’s super athletic and is great with cats, dogs, and kids.
You could say she’s out-of-this-world “perfect!”
