The Tennessee Titans haven’t given their fans many reasons to show up to games over the last few years. That was pretty evident during Sunday’s matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Titans were reeling from their 23-10 loss to the New York Jets at home in Week 1, and the Nissan Stadium crowd reflected that in Week 2 as the Titans were savagely roasted on social media for the amount of Eagles fans they allowed to flood the stands.
Jokes were made about the Eagles getting an extra home game added to their schedule, and Titans reporters pointed out just how apathetic the team’s fans have become with Tennessee struggling to win games since breaking up the Ryan Tannehill-Derrick Henry-A.J. I’ve never seen so many opposing fans in my life,” A to Z Sports’ Easton Freeze wrote. I wish I had this much green in my checking account,” Main Street Nashville’s Terry McCormick stated.
