Even if it does accept the impossibility of the housing market as a fait accompli, it offers intriguing ideas.
This time: Kat, whose bespoke tiny home will cost her £50k; Sean, who is building his own; and a Dutch experiment in regulatory relaxation around construction. Phil Harrison There are shades of Murder, She Wrote to this cosy, Maine-set whodunnit, as sleuthing novelist Allie (Brooke Shields) and her gen Z sidekick Andi (Amalia Williamson) casually unmask killers. Their latest case involves the suspicious suicide of a smarmy podcaster’s wife.
Can the duo poke holes in his airtight alibi? Graeme Virtue 10pm, Channel 4More boozy merriment as Joe Lycett’s pop-up pub opens its doors once again. This time, landlord Lycett will be delegating his least favourite tasks to temp manager Mel Giedroyc, while special guest Sophie Willan lounges on a barstool and has a natter.
As subliminal chatshow formats go, there have been many worse. PH 10pm, Sky OneThe 1970s-set espionage spoof created by Kiwi comic Paul Williams wraps up its first season with a deadpan double bill. With one hapless agent missing and the actually competent Sue (Rose Matafeo) ready to quit, it’s left to Michael (Williams) to don scuba gear and two wristwatches to foil a toxic sabotage plot.
GV 10.45pm, ITV1“I guess you’re right about being an acquired taste.” Uh-oh. Is Rudy and Sarah’s romance heading for the rocks? Certainly, last week’s expensive suit gift went down like a cup of cold sick, and episode four puts their relationship under more pressure, when Sarah accidentally lets slip the existence of the hospital’s secret committee.
