Tyreek Hill suffered a gruesome leg injury with the Miami Dolphins in Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season. And now three weeks into 2026, the five-time First Team All-Pro wide receiver is still without a team. Earlier this year, Hill's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said the free-agent pass catcher is targeting a return to the field sometime in October.
So, where will Hill sign for his 11th NFL campaign? Reports have linked Hill to a potential return with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he spent the first six years of his NFL career. Hill fueled that speculation with a social media post on Wednesday.
"I think I’m ready for some cold weather," Hill wrote on X. Hill led the NFL in both receiving yards (1,799) and receiving touchdowns (13) with the Dolphins in 2023. The following year, he recorded 959 yards and six touchdowns.
Hill had 21 catches for 265 yards and one score before suffering his season-ending injury in Week 4. The Chiefs are 3-0 to open up the 2026 NFL season, notching wins over the Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins. They'll look to remain unbeaten in a matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
