Now, the company owns 19.5% of Delivery Hero post the acquisition of additional shares and instruments, and a further 5.6% in options.
Delivery Hero has now confirmed that it had received a takeover offer from rival Uber, valuing the company at 33 euros ($38.29) per share. Uber Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:UBER) continues to make acquisitions overseas in a bid to bolster its position internationally. Notably, the rivals, such as DoorDash, are also making such moves, including the acquisition of UK delivery service Deliveroo, added Bloomberg.
