Villa reach verbal agreement to sign PSG's Mbaye

Aston Villa have reached a verbal agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign winger Ibrahim Mbaye. Sky Sports News reported Mbaye was a target for Villa in March and that the winger wanted a move this summer in search of regular game time. Liverpool had also explored the conditions of a move for Mbaye.

Mbaye predominantly plays on the right wing and made 24 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG last season, scoring three goals and adding two assists. Villa had been targeting a move for AC Milan forward Rafael Leao but Sky in Italy has reported that the Portugal international has instead accepted a move to Galatasaray.
