Marvel Rivals' Season 10.5 release time is creeping up fast, as NetEase prepares to ditch tradition in favor of something rather different. There's no new hero this mid-season — Gorr's all you get for the whole of Season 10 — but there is a massive new game mode. 'Tis the season for a bunch of Halloween specials, too, including new skins. Below, we break down when Marvel Rivals Season 10 releases in your time zone.
Marvel Rivals will go down for maintenance at 5 a.m. EDT on Friday, Oct. 9 for around two hours, meaning Marvel Rivals Season10.5 goes live at 7 a.m. EDT on Friday, Oct. 9, according to the official game update page.
Here's when Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 will be released in your time zone: The midseason update might not have a new hero, but it does have the gigantic new game mode Path to Doomsday. It's a PvE mode, but unlike Rivals' previous PvE modes, this one pits 50 players against a single enemy. That enemy is Thanos, as you might've guessed from the mode name, and NetEase promised to recreate some of Avengers: Endgame's more well-known moments in it.
There's also an Infinity War 2v2 mode, a bunch of new Halloween-themed skins for Deadpool, Elsa, and Devil Dino, among others, a new map for the 18v18 Annihilation mode, and, starting Oct. 29, a puzzle-themed mode called Night of Illusions. There are a couple of noteworthy hero updates as well. Iron Man's getting a new barrage mechanic that has his missiles automatically lock on to up to five targets, which should help improve his damage output, and Phoenix's damage is getting bumped up too.
It's not a flashy change, but seeing how Phoenix has struggled to keep up with other Duelist-class characters, it's a welcome one anyway. Finally, Jubilee's Sparking Sprint mobility skill grants her a small amount of continuous healing, so she's better able to sustain herself.
