Jenny Lupton, a 50-year-old flight attendant for Southwest Airlines, was found dead in Hawaii during a layover on Friday. The Honolulu Police Department said its homicide detail was actively investigating the death and the circumstances surrounding it. The police said in a statement on Tuesday that no conclusions had been made.
"To preserve the integrity of the investigation, HPD will limit the release of certain information," they said. A GoFundMe has been set up by Lupton's coworkers. The description reads in part: "Jenny was one of us.
She was part of our work family. She shared the skies with us, worked beside us, laughed with us, and touched the lives of so many." The fundraiser has raised over $6,000 out of a $26,000 target, and has been set up to support Lupton's family. And we are going to do everything we can to make sure her family knows that they have good people on their side," the fundraiser added.
This is a developing story.
