A 39-year-old woman from England has left her followers on TikTok in disbelief after revealing her real age—and the daily habits she credits for her remarkably youthful appearance. Cassie Ravenhall, who is approaching her 40th birthday, told Newsweek that her age-defying looks come down to consistency rather than any secret procedure or expensive product. Her viral video breaking down her skin and haircare staples has racked up more than 100,000 views, with many viewers refusing to believe her true age.

Though 40 is not old by any real standard, the age is often treated as a milestone on social media platforms like TikTok, one where visible signs of aging start to occur and are discussed. "I look after myself of course," Ravenhall, who is turning 40 in January, told Newsweek. "Nurturing my body with whole foods and regular exercise really does work.

There is no magic formula and if you stick to it, I think most would reap the benefits." The reaction to her original post caught her off guard. "I was surprised how many comments were left on my TikTok about turning 40, I had so many telling me I must be lying! Now if I'm going to lie about my age, I'd definitely shave off a few years, not add them," she said.

For Ravenhall, who has amassed a following of more than 2,200 people on the platform, TikTok has become something closer to a personal journal than a beauty brand. "I use my TikTok mostly as a little diary and love to connect with like-minded people," she said. "I am a new mum and have found motherhood the biggest roller coaster, as well as my proudest blessing." Beauty is not new territory for Ravenhall.

A former makeup artist, she says she has always been fascinated by skincare and cosmetics—and admits she once feared getting older. But she pushes back on the idea that turning 40 comes with a checklist. "My biggest misconception about turning particular 'big' ages is that you are supposed to have your life figured out by so and so—this is just not true," she said.

Ravenhall points to her own life as proof. She did not meet her now-fiancé until she was 35 and welcomed her first child, a daughter, at 37. "I do believe this is another reason why I look younger," she said.
