We're just a few short weeks away from another adventure in Hyrule, thanks to Nintendo's remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The highly anticipated release will breathe new life into the Nintendo 64 classic, thanks to streamlined controls, massively overhauled visuals, and new features such as Zelda Notes and enhanced ocarina support. Nintendo offered an extended look at 2026's The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Wednesday — alongside new previews of the Nintendo Switch 2 game — that revealed a fun new feature coming to the game called the Hall of Fallen Foes.
That museum-like addition to the Ocarina of Time remake comes with another welcome confirmation. In a new overview video, Nintendo showcases many of the bosses, dungeons, and non-player characters that players will revisit in the Ocarina of Time remake. Nintendo also reveals the Hall of Fallen Foes, where statues of defeated monsters are displayed in a museum-like setting.
Each defeated monster comes with its own placard that offers insight into the creature, and for powerful foes (i.e., dungeon bosses), you'll be able to relive the battle in rematches. King Dodongo is shown as an example of one of the bosses players will be able to revisit through the Hall of Fallen Foes to hone their skills and shoot for a personal best time. The Nintendo 3DS remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time included a similar Boss Challenge mode.
The Switch 2 remake's glorified bestiary will be a nice improvement on that feature, particularly for collectors. If you're looking to avoid spoilers for the Ocarina of Time remake — yes, I know it's a nearly 28-year-old game — there are sneak peeks at bosses like Gohma and Volvagia, as well as other key characters. But if you're interested in seeing how Nintendo has evolved the look of Ocarina of Time in its second remake, the nearly five-minute overview is worth watching.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on Nov. 5.
