Following Oklahoma’s 27-24 win over the No. 1 Texas during the annual Red River Rivalry, things got… well, heated. Both teams had to be separated following the end of the fourth quarter, with Texas players taking the loss to heart as they started to chant “Y’all still suck” at the opposing team before Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian had to step in and usher his players off the field. The confrontation occurred shortly after the Sooners kicked a 47-yard field goal to nab the game away from the overall favorites.
The kick came after a costly Texas interception thrown by quarterback Arch Manning. Folks took to social media after video of the small scuffle started to go viral. Manning threw for three touchdowns, yet had two interceptions, one of which led to the field goal that took the game – all of which drew the criticism of professionals, including former Baylor quarterback and Heisman winner Robert Griffin III.
