They are brother and sister and the cute tuxedoed black-and-white cat is Galaxy. Her brother is the stunning all-black Cassiopeia. And, yes, for those knowledgeable about ancient Greek mythology, Cassiopeia was a queen.
But who cares about gender when you’re simply out of this world? Born around May 2025, the pair were two of four kittens discovered by a kind soul who brought them to ARK this past April. Cassiopeia and Galaxy are very much attached to each other and we want to have them adopted together.
They are a showcase pair, not only in looks, but also in their love for each other, and they haven’t spent a day apart in their lives. Cassiopeia is a big cat, already topping the scales at over 5 kilograms. His foster family affectionately calls him “Big Boy.” He loves attention, lots of stroking, and he loves to spend his time exploring, resting, grooming and being groomed.
Much smaller in stature, Galaxy makes up for size with attitude. She’s very smart, can be initially wary, and can also be a bit of a tough customer at times, which means Cassiopeia has to mind his manners with her. But they love each other as siblings do.
There is an occasional tussle, but afterward they’ll curl up together for a nap. We’re wishing on a star that these two find a loving home.
