The Las Vegas Raiders got a scare during training camp when Ashton Jeanty went down with a concerning-looking injury. But as the Raiders gear up for their Week 1 matchup against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, it appears the second-year running back is primed and ready to go. Jeanty said the ankle injury he suffered on Aug. 23 feels "really good" and he's "super excited" to take the field this weekend.

"Any time away from the game, it's tough," Jeanty said, via ESPN. "But to get back out there, mainly with the guys, man, it felt good." "I knew it wasn't anything too bad, even though I couldn't put pressure on my foot," he added of his injury when speaking to reporters on Thursday. "I figured it wouldn't be anything that's too long-term." Jeanty finished his rookie season with solid numbers, but was limited by poor offensive line play from the Raiders in 2025.

The No. 6 overall draft pick finished the year with 975 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns, while reeling in 55 catches for 346 yards and five additional scores through the air. The Raiders will kick off against the Dolphins at 4:25 p.m.
