A new hero may have emerged in Chicago on Monday, as Bears' backup quarterback Case Keenum led his team to a 27-7 win over the Philadelphia Eagles The 38-year-old hadn't played in a game in almost three years, last suiting up for the Houston Texans in December 2023. However, he took on the assignment of replacing injured star quarterback Caleb Williams and did so impressively. Keenum completed 24 of 34 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns, finishing with a 110.8 passer rating.
He threw zero interceptions and wasn't sacked, giving him plenty of ability to find teammates on the field. Among his top targets were Luther Burden III and Kalif Raymond. Burden had seven receptions for 61 yards and the game's first touchdown, while Raymond had six catches for 90 yards, including a 41-yard touchdown reception, the longest of the game.

During the game, a report on Williams said he will miss about three to four weeks as he recovers from his hamstring injury suffered against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2. So far, the Bears seem to be in capable hands after Keenum's "MNF" performance while they wait for Williams.
