This past season was another successful one for Ja'Marr Chase, who earned his fifth Pro Bowl selection and second All-Pro First Team recognition of his career. Chase, 26, ranked third in the NFL with 125 receptions last season and fourth among wide receivers with his 1,412 receiving yards. He scored just eight touchdowns, ranking 11th overall for receivers.
Still, his excellence on the field continues, and he's entering this season among the top 20 players in the NFL. On Wednesday, the NFL revealed that Chase is the No. 16 player overall as voted by other players. That prompted the Bengals to react, sharing a short highlight video and a message calling him "The ONE and only" due to his unmatched skills on the football field.

He was the No. 4 overall player heading into the 2025 season, but other players' votes determined their are 15 players ahead of him entering this new season. In the NFL's video, Keenan Allen referred to Chase as his favorite wide receiver to watch because he's "Explosive.
He can change the game at any moment" and "can take it to the house." "Favorite receiver to watch? I feel like he's just got a well-rounded route tree. He makes plays underneath, down the field," Watson said.
The NFL revealed during their over two-minute video about Chase's ranking, that he racked up 352 receptions from 2023 to 2025. Romeo Doubs praised Chase for "playing at the highest level for most of his life" and his ability to rack up yards after a catch. Houston Texans cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. made the intriguing point that he doesn't believe it matters who throws the ball to Chase as quarterback.
He mentioned Joe Burrow's injury keeping him out for multiple games last season, and Chase still racking up catches from QB Joe Flacco. The good news for Chase is he heads into this season with Burrow healthy. That should translate to more connections between the two Pro Bowlers for Cincinnati, a team that struggled to a 6-11 finish but is looking to return to the postseason after not reaching it last season.
