A guide on how to complete the "Boarding The Frigate" quest in Arc Raiders, including how to get on the Frigate in the first place.

The "Boarding The Frigate" quest in Arc Raiders is one that doesn't hide what it entails, because it's ultimately all about one thing: boarding a Frigate. The Frigate is a brand-new Arc machine introduced with the "Frozen Trail" update, and it can appear on any map as part of its own map condition, sans Stella Montis. It's bigger and badder than even the Matriarch though, and taking it down is one hell of a feat.

To defeat it, though, you first must board it. Here's how to complete the "Boarding The Frigate" quest in Arc Raiders. "Boarding The Frigate" has just four steps, and once you've done the first, the other three can be done in any order: Since most of this quest is all about damaging Arc enemies, it's highly recommended that you come equipped with a Hullcracker, seeker and/or wolfpack grenades, and other weapons/explosives that will help your fight against the machines.

When you load into a Frigate round in Arc Raiders, you'll see the gigantic ship fly in and hover above the map. Smaller ships will fly off and scatter themselves throughout the map. To board the Frigate, climb on top of one of the smaller ships, then interact with the prompt to disrupt it.

This is what will cause it to fly back up to the mothership, so to speak. Getting on one of these smaller ships can be tricky, however, so we'd recommend bringing a snaphook and a grappling hook. These tools are also useful when you're on the Frigate, because there's a lot of elevation you'll need to traverse.

When you get to the Frigate, you'll need to make your way through a series of tunnels and passages until you eventually exit on top of the ship. At the top, you'll find all three enemies you need to deal damage to. Hydras are three-headed turrets that will spring up out of the ground, while Rocketeers and Vaporizers will be flying in the air, alongside smaller flying Arc enemies.

The more cores that get damaged on the Frigate (and the closer the Frigate comes to revealing its loot), the more enemies will come flying in. However, you do not need to "complete" the Frigate to finish this quest. As long as you deal 100 damage to each foe, you can die and the quest will still be complete.
