Caro Claire Burke has bought you (yes you) a ticket to see NAZA.

Caro Claire Burke, the bestselling novelist behind the most-talked-about-book of 2026, is asking all her followers to see a movie. That movie is NAZA, an award-winning documentary that explores Israel’s brutal military tactics in Gaza. As The Guardian has reported, NAZA reveals “the systems behind Israel’s calculated mass killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza.” The film’s title refers to “a military acronym euphemistically used by Israeli intelligence to indicate the number of civilians that it expects will be killed in an airstrike.” A labor of profound grit, the project comes from Israeli filmmakers Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor.

Which team—along with producer Jonathan Glazer—were also behind 2024’s Oscar-winning expose, No Other Land. As in that project, the ground-breaking coverage in NAZA leans on hard-won interviews from endangered subjects, and scoops from independent journals like +972 and The Guardian. Despite a robust protest movement—culminating in threats to the filmmakers’ citizenship—NAZA is currently collecting laurels at the New York Film Festival, and is bound for a wider release this fall.

New York’s IFC Center will show the film in October. And if you happen to be in the neighborhood, you can get a free ticket to one of their screenings—thanks to Ms. The author of Yesteryear appealed to her Insta followers in a post yesterday afternoon.

To claim a free ticket, all you have to do is join the line anytime after 11 AM daily at IFC Center. They’ll give out the tickets for that day’s show at the box office starting at 12:30 PM on a first come, first served basis, until they’re gone. Limit two tickets per person!
