Indianapolis Colts second-year tight end Tyler Warren left practice on Wednesday with an apparent groin injury, according to multiple reporters on the scene. Warren walked off the field with a noticeable limp, accompanied by trainers. He returned to the sideline, still in uniform but without a helmet.

Warren put together an excellent rookie campaign as the Colts' No. 14 overall pick in the 2025 draft. The former Penn State standout reeled in 76 catches for 817 yards and four touchdowns in his debut campaign, earning Pro-Bowl honors. The big-framed pass catcher also rushed for one touchdown as a ball carrier in goal-line scenarios.

This injury for Warren comes on the same day that the Colts officially signed veteran wide receiver Keenan Allen. Indianapolis already has injury issues at the pass catcher position as Alec Pierce continues to recover from his offseason ankle surgery. The Colts will face off against the Atlanta Falcons in their next preseason matchup on Saturday afternoon.

Their regular-season schedule will kickoff with a Week 1 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 13.
