Following this past Thursday's loss to the previously-winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a third-party employee at AT&T Stadium said "embarrassing" to Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott as he walked back into the locker room. Prescott turned to confront the worker, and addressed the conflict during his postgame media availability. The incident was captured on video and went viral on social media.
Jerry Jones was asked about this confrontation during his radio appearance with 105.3 The Fan on Tuesday. Instead of defending his quarterback, the long-time Cowboys owner supported the worker's right to be vocally frustrated with the team's performance. "It doesn't impact me at all.
The driver in question was not an employee. Fans can express themselves, and should express themselves. Whether he was our employee or not, he was a fan, it sounds like.
So, I'm for our fans expressing themselves," Jones said, via team reporter Jon Machota of The Athletic. The Cowboys are 2-3 to open up the 2026 NFL season. They have two consecutive primetime matchups on the horizon: a "Sunday Night Football" clash against the Green Bay Packers in Week 6 and a "Monday Night Football" contest against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 7.
Sunday's game will kick off at 8:20 p.m.
