The Las Vegas Raiders suffered their first loss of the 2026 NFL season on Sunday, falling to the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs with a 30-27 final score. The Raiders have one of the thinner wide receiver units in the league. In Sunday's Week 4 loss to the Chiefs, No. 1 WR option Tre Tucker was out-gained by three non-wide receivers in the passing game: tight end Brock Bowers, tight end Michael Mayer and running back Ashton Jeanty.
Las Vegas' offense would certainly benefit from some added talent at the wide receiver position. And following Sunday's loss, NBA star/Raiders fan Damian Lillard urged the team to trade for Dallas Cowboys WR George Pickens. "Just go get Pickens…" Lillard wrote on social media.
Pickens is playing under the franchise tag after failing to reach a long-term contract extension with the Cowboys this past offseason. He's set to become an unrestricted free agent at the conclusion of the 2026 season. Pickens has the talent to be a No. 1 wide receiver on many NFL teams, including the Raiders.
But in Dallas, he sits behind superstar pass catcher CeeDee Lamb. Lamb leads the team with 37 catches for 498 yards and four touchdowns so far this season, while Pickens has 18 catches for 225 yards and no scores.
