Democrats and Republicans can agree: there should be more monetary support for child care

The Trump administration is eyeing a proposal to give childcare subsidies to married couples with a stay-at-home parent. Some Democrats have a similar proposal, with one major difference. NPR does not offer or accept money for coverage or interviews.
