Atlanta Dream star Angel Reese made a bold claim ahead of her team playing in a must-win Game 6 of the WNBA Finals.

Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream appeared to have momentum in the WNBA Finals after winning several games to take a series lead, but the Golden State Valkyries have since stormed back. With Golden State on the verge of capturing their first championship, the Dream now face a must-win Game 6, with State Farm Arena hosting the huge matchup. On Wednesday, Reese spoke about her team's preparation for this game with their backs against the wall and made a major vow.

"We watched a lot of film, and the mistakes that we made have literally just been us. Kudos to Golden State for their defense for sure, but we've gotten a lot of great looks. Like, we just haven't hit the shot yet," Reese said.

Like, I don't believe that it's not coming. We put the work in every single day. [Head coach Karl Smesko] has us the most prepared team, so, that's why we have no doubt. I have no doubt that this team will come back and fight back and win this Game 6," she told WSB-TV.

More news: NBA Legend Urges Atlanta Hawks to Make Bold Change for Dream’s WNBA Finals Game In their Game 5 loss at Golden State, the Dream shot a disappointing 29.1% from the field and had 15 turnovers. The Valkyries capitalized, scoring 21 points off Atlanta's turnovers. After a strong regular season, Reese picked up where she left off in the postseason.

She's averaging 17 points, 10.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.7 blocks, and 1.5 steals per game. She had strong performances in her team's two wins, including a historic game with 30 points and 16 rebounds at Golden State in Game 2. Reese followed that up with a 21-point, 12-rebound double-double in Game 3.

However, she's been held to single-digit scoring in Games 4 and 5, so a strong bounceback performance could be due. Reese also indicated she has no issues with the time this game will be played, as the WNBA Finals matchup occurs at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Thursday.
