The Philadelphia Eagles drafted wide receiver Makai Lemon, the 2025 Biletnikoff Award winner, with their No. 20 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Lemon missed most of minicamp and training camp so far with a hamstring injury. However, the former USC standout finally returned to the field for a joint practice with the New England Patriots on Thursday.
With his return to practice on Thursday, Lemon now has plenty of time to ramp up as the Eagles approach their Week 1 matchup against the Washington Commanders on Sept. 13. Philadelphia will take the field for a preseason matchup against the Patriots on Saturday, then another preseason contest against the Cincinnati Bengals next week. Lemon participated in Thursday's practice with a "limited" designation.
Lemon is one of the Eagles' many wide receiver additions this past offseason, offsetting the departure of AJ Brown.
