He said most of the advice he gave his nephew was "more football stuff," but Manning also weighed in on the media situation involving Rowe. He wisely said that it's up to him to get a handle on it as he continues his career. "He'll have to figure out that media on his own, and a lot of it is just kind of growing pains.
You feel like [the media is] your pal, you relax with them a little bit, you try to be funny, and then they can take it and run," he said. You gotta pick your moments where you can be funny, you can be relaxed, but there's certain things that you just gotta learn and deal with it."
