We're looking at the best free agents left during the offseason.

Gabe Vincent is still waiting for his next NBA chance, but one analyst believes the veteran guard is the best player left on the free-agent market. It's difficult to argue against that idea, too. Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report named Vincent the top remaining NBA free agent, putting a little more spotlight on a player who could provide some real experience to the right roster.

Vincent spent the past few seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, occasionally stepping into the starting lineup before being traded to the Atlanta Hawks ahead of the 2025-26 trade deadline. He finished the season with Atlanta, but the move didn't exactly produce the same results from beyond the arc. That number fell to 30% after he joined the Hawks, making his fit in Atlanta somewhat less convincing. Still, there are reasons for teams to take a closer look. Vincent isn't just another veteran guard looking for a roster spot.

He has lot of playoff experience from his time with the Heat. That experience could be great for a team looking for someone who can provide leadership without needing the ball constantly in his hands. Last also showed that Vincent can still contribute as a rotation player.

He has experience starting when needed, but his ability to come off the bench could make him a more natural fit for a team with an established starting backcourt. Vincent could have to settle for a minimum contract at this stage of his career, according to the assessment.

That could actually make him more exciting for teams looking for an experienced guard without committing significant money. A return to his better 3-point shooting form would certainly help his case, too. Either way, though, Pincus' ranking makes Vincent one of the stronger names still available.
