Netflix released an official new KPop Demon Hunters choreography video for "How It's Done" aimed a KPDH fans.

While KPop Demon Hunters fans patiently wait for the forthcoming sequel, Netflix is dropping new video content from 2025's breakout animated musical adventure, starting with footage that didn't appear in the film. On Monday, Netflix released a short video that reveals the full choreography for Huntr/x's "How It's Done," promising that the new clip "is just the opening act" for new KPop Demon Hunters reveals. While brief, the new animation shows Rumi, Mira, and Zoey practicing the dance steps to "How It's Done," which in the film is largely performed during an airborne fight against the forces of darkness.

The opening act in KPop Demon Hunters shows only a smidgen of the K-pop group's actual concert performance, but the new choreography shows how the Huntr/x trio officially gets down to the hit track. One subtle but interesting aspect of the new choreography is when it appears to be set in the film's canonical timeline. Rumi, Mira, and Zoey perform the dance moves in a studio while Rumi is comfortably showing off her demonic patterns, an aspect of her persona she keeps closely guarded in KPop Demon Hunters.

This would place the new video after the events of the movie. The complete official choreography video for “How It’s Done” heralds other plans; Netflix will also reveal official choreo for “Golden,” “Takedown,” “Soda Pop,” and “Your Idol” with full-length routines, which will be released this week on Netflix’s social channels and its Tudum blog. Instead of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey showing off, however, it sounds like the movie's original choreographers — Nain, Leejung Lee, and K-Tigers — will perform the dance moves for fans.

Netflix promises that they'll "break down the signature poses and formations in a series of special episodes debuting soon on Netflix." Since KPop Demon Hunters' release in June 2025, Netflix has mined as much as it possibly can from the film. The streamer has released an alternate sing-along version of the film, a series of lyric videos and bonus features, and even a KPop Demon Hunters-themed fireplace video featuring the evil Gwi-Ma. Beyond that, Netflix has gone all in on merchandise, from American Girl dolls to Lego sets.

In March, Netflix officially inked a deal for a sequel, signing a multiyear writing and directing partnership with KPop Demon Hunters directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans. Plans for a sequel to KPop Demon Hunters were rumored for months ahead of that deal, as Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation eyed a follow-up to the breakout hit. Sony itself quickly entered negotiations to lock Kang and Appelhans down for KPop Demon Hunters 2.

KPop Demon Hunters is the most-watched Netflix movie of all time. Delivering a sequel to the pop culture phenomenon that spawned a chart-topping soundtrack, earned two Oscar nominations, won a Grammy, and captured the imagination of kids, tweens, and adults everywhere will be no easy feat. But it sounds like Kang, Appelhans, and crew will have time to figure it out.
