India rejects court ruling on Indus Waters Treaty India has rejected a Hague-based arbitration court’s ruling that the Indus Waters Treaty remains in force and that India must continue to observe its obligations. Pakistan welcomed the ruling which comes amid tensions over India’s decision to put the treaty in abeyance after the 2025 Pahalgam attack.
