The New York Jets could be without their No. 1 wide receiver weapon in Sunday's Week 9 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. When speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Jets head coach Aaron Glenn announced that Garrett Wilson is in the NFL's concussion protocol and considered "day-to-day" moving forward. "Garrett, he's in the concussion protocol.

He'll be day-to-day," Glenn said. Wilson, who's been openly frustrated about his role in the Jets' offense so far this season, had six catches for 83 yards in this past Sunday's 38-33 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. Wilson's practice status later this week will be a good indication of his potential availability for Sunday's road matchup against the Chiefs.

Fortunately for the Jets, wide receiver Adonai Mitchell is back from injury and performing at a high level. In Sunday's loss to the Raiders, he paced New York with seven catches for 142 yards and a touchdown. Rookie pass catcher Omar Cooper Jr. has also flashed brilliance on a few occasions in his debut campaign.

Sunday's Week 9 matchup against the Chiefs will kick off at 1 p.m. ET from Arrowhead Stadium.
