Mississippi State quarterback Kamario Taylor is taking the college football world by storm. Through four games, Taylor is completing 69.2% of his passes for 1,192 yards, 14 touchdowns, and two interceptions, and he’s added another 185 yards and one touchdown on the ground. He’s tied for the NCAA lead in touchdown passes, and he ranks 10th in the nation in passing yards.
He’s been so impressive, in fact, that the talk of college football has been whether or not tTaylor will transfer after the season to a larger Power 4 team that could offer him around a $10 million NIL deal. Former Alabama head coach Nick Saban admitted that Taylor transferring after the season was even on his mind. While seemingly everyone is betting on Taylor peacing out and leaving Mississippi State in the rearview once the season ends, the breakout sophomore responded to Saban’s comments with a blunt clap back at those urging him to hit the transfer portal.

There’s no denying Taylor is one of the biggest rising stars in the country and is already one of the top signal-callers in the SEC. He’s sure to get even more attention the better he plays, making it nearly impossible to silence the rumors that he could transfer after the end of the season.
However, if you’re to take Taylor at his word, Mississippi State has nothing to worry about.
