Conservative comedian Ron White has used an appearance on Joe Rogan's podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, to blast Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton as a "piece of s***.” The timing is significant as Paxton’s rival Democrat James Talarico’s standing continues to improve in polling and election forecasts. The latest polling from VoteHub suggests that Talarico is narrowly favored to take Texas in the upcoming Midterms, while prediction market Kalshi gives the Democrat a 54 per cent chance over Paxton’s 47 per cent. While Paxton has faced criticism from Democrats in the past, it is noteworthy that voices within the broader conservative media, which have traditionally been friendly territory for him, are speaking out too.
