Few incoming rookies have garnered as much preseason hype as Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane ahead of the 2026 season. With multiple highlight-reel plays throughout training camp thus far, Lane is gaining buzz as one of the most exciting players from this year's class. Lane is expected to have an immediate impact on the Ravens' offense, led by superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson.
He joins a wide receiver room led by Zay Flowers, who just signed a lucrative four-year, $140 million contract extension earlier this month. "This guy is different," Jackson said of Lane, via team insider Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic. Lane, a former USC Trojans standout, is putting in the work before his rookie season with the Ravens.
"The proof is in the pudding. It’s just crazy to think that now I’m in this position.” The Ravens' 2026 regular-season schedule will begin with a Week 1 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts on Sept. 13.
