Marvin Harrison Jr. was heavily involved in trade rumors before the 2026 season even kicked off, and through three games, things have only gotten worse for the former No. 4 overall pick. Heading into Week 4, Harrison has just four catches for 73 yards, trailing Trey McBride, Michael Wilson and even Kendrick Bourne in receptions, yards and targets. As a result, speculation has grown that the Arizona Cardinals could deal their former first-round pick before the NFL trade deadline on Tuesday, Nov. 10.
But according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the Cardinals might not be able to get much in return. Fowler reported that while teams around the league continue to monitor the situation in Arizona, one team believes Harrison could be dealt for "possibly a quality Day 3 pick." Over his final two seasons at Ohio State, he hauled in 144 catches for 2,474 yards and 24 touchdowns, averaging 17.2 yards per reception.
During his junior year, he led the Big Ten in both receiving yards and touchdowns. He also earned back-to-back unanimous All-American honors and entered the 2024 NFL Draft drawing comparisons to stars such as CeeDee Lamb, A.J. Green, and Andre Johnson.
He's also the son of Pro Football Hall of Fame receiver Marvin Harrison. In other words, this was the kind of can't-miss prospect franchises are supposed to build around. Yet three seasons into his NFL career, Harrison is starting to look like one of the biggest draft busts of the last decade.

But his production has cratered since, and at times, he's appeared disinterested in what the Cardinals are building on offense. Still, the idea that Harrison could be acquired for nothing more than a fourth- or fifth-round pick is crazy for a player who was viewed as a potential generational talent just a few years ago.
There are also several contenders around the league that need more depth at wide receiver and could easily afford to part with a Day 3 pick. Some potential landing spots include the Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers, and Houston Texans.
