Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni declined to answer a question about the NFLPA's Jalen Hurts investigation request.

The Philadelphia Eagles ruled out quarterback Jalen Hurts for the remainder of the 2026 NFL season after doctors found multiple blood clots in his lungs. Eagles medical personnel first discovered a superficial blood clot on Hurts' calf before the team's Week 5 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. However, the quarterback was somehow still cleared to play in the international matchup.

Earlier this week, reports indicated that the NFL found the Eagles committed no wrongdoing in their handling of the situation. However, the NFL Players Association responded to these reports by requesting a "full investigation." Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni was asked about this NFLPA request when speaking to reporters on Thursday. "Guys, I'm not going to go into any of that," Sirianni replied, via team insider Zach Berman of The Athletic.

"Respect your question, and obviously, I understand that everybody has questions about this, and I I care deeply about Jalen, and I want his well-being. first and foremost, but really I'm here to talk about the Cowboys and our team and this week in practice." Now operating with Tanner McKee as their starting quarterback, the Eagles will take the field for a primetime "Monday Night Football" matchup against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys in Week 7.
