Ole Miss is riding the highest of highs after upsetting LSU last weekend, getting revenge on Lane Kiffin after he left the team to take over at LSU late last season. But the Rebels don't have any time off. Saturday, they head to Gainesville for a clash with another powerhouse SEC program, the Florida Gators.
Florida is already listed as a narrow 3.5-point favorite, and Ole Miss needs all the firepower it can get to keep up with the Gators' explosive offense. Unfortunately, it looks like the Rebels may be without one of their best offensive players, star running back Kewan Lacy. According to CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz, Lacy is currently trending toward missing the game with a shoulder injury.

He earned first-team All-SEC and first-team All-American honors and entered this season on the preseason watch list for several national awards, including the Doak Walker Award, Maxwell Award, and Walter Camp Player of the Year Award. He was already off to a strong start through the first three games of the season, with 191 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 39 carries, averaging 4.9 yards per carry, and his workload was expected to pick up over the back half of the season as competition heats up.

Still, Lacy was their leading rusher, and the offense relies on a strong run game. The Rebels will be in a significantly deeper hole than they already were if their All-SEC back misses.
