The Los Angeles Rams took down the crosstown-rival Los Angeles Chargers in a Week 8 matchup this past Sunday, coming out on top with a 24-9 final score at SoFi Stadium. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert continued his nightmarish 2026 campaign with yet another rough outing, throwing two more interceptions to add to his league-leading total of 10. Cornerback Trent McDuffie and safety Quentin Lake both picked off Herbert in the dominant victory.
During an appearance on the "St. Brown Podcast," Lake fired a brutal shot at Herbert when asked what it was like playing against him. He’s seeing ghosts, I’m not gonna lie.
I don't know what's going on. We knew we were gonna get a couple," Lake said. Herbert and the Chargers offense, who rank bottom of the league in most categories, haven't recorded a single touchdown since Week 5.
They're the only remaining NFL team without a single win so far this season, posting an 0-7 record. The Chargers will face off against the Houston Texans in a Week 9 matchup this coming Sunday.
