The New York Jets haven't made the playoffs since Rex Ryan led them to the AFC Championship Game 15 years ago. They took the first step toward snapping that drought with an impressive Week 1 victory over the Tennessee Titans. The Jets left Nashville with a 23-10 win in a thoroughly one-sided contest.
They tallied 367 yards to Tennessee's 195 behind an efficient outing in Geno Smith's return. Ryan liked what he saw from his old team. The former Jets head coach commended their season-opening performance behind new offensive coordinator Frank Reich on Monday's Get Up.
