Robert Pattinson is opening up about “The Batman: Part II” — and how it is a totally “different take” on the franchise than the first film was. Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan will star alongside Pattinson in the film, along with supporting cast members Charles Dance, Brian Tyree Henry and Sebastian Koch. Still, the film’s plot details remain under wraps. Variety previously reported that Reeves completed the sequel’s script in June 2025, though the film was originally announced in 2022 — just a month after the first film debuted in theaters.
When “The Batman Part II” premieres, it will have been six years since the first did. DC Studios co-chief James Gunn previously defended the release delays by explaining how it’s “fairly common” for big-budget titles to have lengthy gaps before a sequel is released.
