Rod Stewart is set to welcome his seventh grandchild after his daughter Kimberly revealed she is pregnant. The 47-year-old shared a topless photo of herself cradling her bump and wrote: “Oops I did it again.” Kimberly welcomed her first child, Delilah, in 2011 with actor Benicio Del Toro. She gave birth to a son in July 2025 and has not made his name public.
It is not known who the father of her second or third child is. The 81-year-old singer has eight children by five mothers, first welcoming his eldest daughter, Sarah Streeter – who was raised by adoptive parents – with ex-girlfriend Susannah Boffey. He has Kimberly and son Sean with his ex-wife Alana Stewart, to whom he was married from 1979 until 1984.
He is also father to Ruby, whom he had with former girlfriend Kelly Emberg. Stewart has a daughter, Renee and a son, Liam, from his marriage to Rachel Hunter, which lasted from 1990 until 2006. He also has sons Alastair and Aiden with his current wife, Penny Lancaster, whom he married in 2007.
He has six grandchildren currently – Kimberly’s two children, Ruby’s sons Otis and Levi, and Liam’s children Louie and Elsie. Health problems had also forced the cancellation and postponement of shows in May and June. In May, the Maggie May singer sent “apologies to my family of fans” in a statement to the Las Vegas Review-Journal after cancelling performances in Nevada, adding: “I am on vocal rest as I recover from a sinus infection.” Less than a month later, he cancelled his San Diego show after being diagnosed with a respiratory infection that resulted in laryngitis.
