Today marks one year of Rosalía's world-dominating fourth album Lux. The Spanish singer is celebrating with an anniversary box set, a Substack post, and a 1,000-track playlist. In her Substack, Rosalía wrote, "I wonder if I made this album equally for others and for myself.
I also wonder if I would ever make this record the way I did again, or if I would even embark on making a record like this again. When I was making this record, I was thinking about cathedrals. Trying to make a record that sounds like a cathedral, haha, I don't know if I succeeded, but I suppose just having tried is enough." Rosalía will perform at the Latin Grammys on Thursday (Nov. 12), where she's nominated in seven categories including Album, Record, and Song Of The Year.
The following day we'll hear a tribute to her on the new U2 album. Two weeks ago Rosalía won three awards at the 2026 Latin Music Awards and last week Patti Smith presented her with the Music Innovator Award at the 2026 WSJ. Magazine Innovator Awards.
