The Philadelphia Eagles are entering yet another season with a new offensive coordinator in 2026. This time, the Eagles offense is gearing up to play under the system of first-time NFL OC Sean Mannion. Eagles players, including superstar running back Saquon Barkley, have continuously gushed over the job Mannion has done with the offense so far.
And after Thursday's joint practice with the New England Patriots, Barkley continued to heap praise on his new OC. Barkley lauded Mannion's work ethic, saying he's the first person in the building and the last to leave. Barkley put up historic rushing numbers in his debut season with the Eagles in 2024, recording 2,005 rushing yards through 16 regular-season games en route to Philadelphia's Super Bowl title.
But last year under now-former OC Kevin Patullo, his numbers took a significant drop. Barkley will look to return to form under Mannion's new system in 2026. The Eagles will open up their regular-season schedule with a Week 1 matchup against the Washington Commanders on Sept. 13.
