The Seattle Seahawks have been struggling lately, now having lost two games in a row. The Seahawks have also lost three out of their last four games. Thus, Seattle has been running into issues early on this season.
With the way this season has been going for the Seahawks, it would not be surprising if they look to add to their roster between now and the NFL trade deadline. One of their biggest needs heading toward the deadline is another impactful wide receiver. Because of this, they are now being linked to a notable trade candidate from the Jacksonville Jaguars.
In a recent article for Bleacher Report, Kristopher Knox named the Seahawks among the top potential suitors for Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. "Teams that need receiver help will and should make a run at Thomas," Knox wrote. "Potential Suitors: Seattle Seahawks, Washington Commanders." Seeing the Seahawks be connected to Thomas is entirely understandable.
They need help at the wide receiver position, and the 24-year-old could provide them with just that if acquired. Thomas has appeared in six games this season with the Jaguars, where he has recorded one touchdown, nine receptions, and 105 receiving yard. His best season was in 2024 when he was a rookie, as he posted 10 touchdowns, 87 receptions, and 1,282 receiving yards.
With past numbers like these, it would make sense for the Seahawks to take a gamble on the former Pro Bowler.
