The Dancing With the Stars Season 35 audience has been absolutely packed with friends, family, random celebrities, and former contestants—but one person who hasn’t popped by this season? Alix Earle, who came in second place with Valentin Chmerkovskiy during Season 34 last year. And apparently the snub is intentional (though, to be clear, there are no hard feelings).
She is so grateful for the show and all it did for her career. But she is ready to move on from that chapter.” Per the insider, Alix isn’t particularly close to Val anymore—and when it comes to his DWTS journey with Jenna Dewan, “She wishes them well, but honestly, she doesn’t really care. They don’t talk regularly, she’s more removed from that world now.” For what it’s worth, Alix had a great time on Dancing With the Stars, and even posted a video of herself crying about the experience coming to an end: Meanwhile, there are still a few episodes left before Dancing With the Stars wraps up its 35th season, and it’s definitely possible that Alix will stop by to support Val and Jenna (and the rest of the cast) during Grammy Night, the semifinals, or the finals.
