After taking a 7-0 lead on a Javonte Williams touchdown, the Dallas Cowboys looked in good shape to start their home game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, things went downhill from there, as Buccaneers undrafted rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels and running back Bucky Irving seemingly navigated past the Dallas defense with ease. Irving finished with 165 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown, and he also caught another touchdown in his team's 24-16 win.
After witnessing the loss, many fans, current players, and former players expressed their frustration over what occurred on the field. This included former Cowboys wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson, who won a Super Bowl with Tampa Bay during his career. Johnson uploaded a video to social media delivering harsh remarks about his former team following its "Thursday Night Football" performance.

"I'm gonna give some advice to Jerry Jones, to Stephen Jones, and Jerry Jr. and my girl, Shar. I'm gonna give y'all some advice: Get rid of that [expletive], man. Just get rid of the coach.
Get rid of the defensive coordinator. Get rid of the coach," he said in his fiery rant. Y'all can't even beat an NFC opponent, let alone the NFC Championship Game," Johnson said, also adding, "It's crazy.
You lost to a rookie quarterback, undrafted at home, favored by as high as 10 [points]." Johnson continued to rip the Cowboys for hiring Brian Schottenheimer as head coach, claiming he's nowhere near the level of a current NFL coach like Ben Johnson or former coach Todd Haley. "Y'all hired him based on his daddy's last name, Schottenheimer. He ain't his father," Johnson said.
