The news comes ahead of the series’ second season, which will be released on Netflix on Nov. 26. Though the Lionsgate and 3 Arts-produced series was originally greenlit to air on Starz, it was acquired by Netflix ahead of the Season 1 premiere in 2025 and remains a Netflix original moving forward. The first season followed Sophie O’Neil (Snow) as she and her family “move from the East Coast to deep East Texas, where she succumbs to socialite Margo’s (Åkerman) irresistible charms – and finds her life consumed by obsession, seduction and murder,” per the official logline.
In Season 2, “Sophie and Margo are on the outs. But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games, the question arises.
Are they the hunters or the hunted?” The cast also includes Dermot Mulroney, Jaime Ray Newman, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, Karen Rodriguez, Hunter Emery, Branton Box, Dale Dickey, Kim Matula, Cam Gigandet, Alex FitzAlan, John Stamos and Angel Reese. Rebecca Cutter created “The Hunting Wives” and serves as showrunner. Executive producers include Cutter, Cobb and 3 Arts’ Erwin Stoff.
