His final victory of the season also saw the world No. 1 surpass Woods' longtime mark as the PGA Tour's money leader. Scheffler entered the week just more than $600,000 behind Woods’ $120,999,166 – a record amount Woods had held the record for 26 years, since February 2000. With a $10 million prize for winning the Tour Championship, Scheffler not only surpassed Woods, but obliterated the record in the process.
