"Internet's having a good old time with this [expletive]," Kelce said, later adding, "Listen, man. Gotta make my girl proud." Kelce did just that, scoring his 83rd career touchdown with his wife at Arrowhead Stadium. He credited his teammate Patrick Mahomes for exceptional passing.
Kelce called Mahomes a "Texas gunslinger" after Sunday night's win, saying his teammate was "letting it rip" with his passes to everyone. "A few of them caught me off guard. I gotta get my [expletive] head around, but man, he's putting the ball where it needs to be and he's getting that ball out on time," Kelce said.
"Pat put it right on the [expletive] money. Pat was ball-out on time," he said regarding his touchdown, which featured Kelce diving over the goal line and into the end zone. So far this season, Kelce's got 12 receptions for 172 yards and a touchdown.
