All eyes continue to be peeled on Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who is dealing with a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 4. However, the Ravens could be without two other key players in Week 5, too. Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers (foot) and defensive end Trey Hendrickson (finger) remained sidelined with their injuries during the team's latest practice.
Flowers was able to log a limited participation, but Hendrickson was not on the field for any portion of practice, according to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk. If either player were to miss the Ravens' Week 5 matchup against the red-hot Atlanta Falcons, it would certainly be a tough obstacle to overcome, but both being sidelined could bode very bad news for the team. Flowers has exploded onto the scene this year, racking up 18 catches for 352 yards and two touchdowns in just three games.
Meanwhile, Hendrickson has four tackles and a sack. Hendrickson had surgery last week and did not play against the Tennessee Titans, but head coach Jesse Minter said he expects it be a short-term absence. Only time will tell when Flowers and Hendrickson will be back on the field as full participants, but Ravens fans now have two more reasons to pay close attention to the injury report the rest of the week.
Wide receiver Rashod Bateman (shoulder), safety Kyle Hamilton (groin), wide receiver Chris Moore (ankle), and guard John Simpson (groin) joined Flowers as limited participants, while defensive lineman Calais Campbell (rest), cornerback Marlon Humphrey (hamstring, calf), left tackle Ronnie Stanley (rest, toe, ankle), and guard Andrew Vorhees (foot) joined Hendrickson on the sideline.
