Tyreek Hill suffered a devastating, season-ending leg injury with the Miami Dolphins in Week 4 of the 2025 season. The Dolphins released Hill earlier this offseason, sending him into free agency. The veteran wide receiver is still on the road to recovery and has yet to find a new NFL landing spot.
During an appearance with "The Pat McAfee Show" on Wednesday, Hill's agent Drew Rosenhaus said he does not expect his client to sign with a team until later this season. He revealed that Hill and his doctors are taking a cautious approach in his recovery, targeting a date sometime around October. "Tyreek is doing amazing," Rosenhaus said.
"His doctors have recommended though that he postpone his comeback until perhaps sometime in October. We're playing it on the safe side. We just want him to be completely healthy.
"There's a ton of interest [in signing him], as you can imagine. We just want to make sure that he's 100% good to go." Hill suffered his season-ending injury just four weeks into the 2025 season. The year prior, he reeled in 81 catches for 959 yards and six touchdowns.
In 2023, he led the NFL in both receiving yards (1,799) and receiving touchdowns (13).
